Nicole Kidman wants an Australian Christmas

Hollywood actress Nicole Kidman has expressed a desire to spend Christmas in Australia because she finds the weather in the country to be great.The 42-year-old actress was born in Hawaii but grew up in Sydney and can't wait to fly Down Under with her husband Keith Urban and their 17-month-old daughter Sunday Rose because she prefers to celebrate the festive season in a warm climate.



Sarah Jessica Parker to have a 'naked' Christmas tree

'Sex and the City' star Sarah Jessica Parker has said that she will continue her family tradition of getting a naked Christmas tree this year.

"When I grew up, we had a "naked tree" on Christmas, meaning it was unadorned. On Christmas Eve, those of us who still believed in Santa Claus would go to bed and when we woke up in the morning the tree was decorated. We were told Santa wrapped our presents and decorated our tree in his spare time and we believed it," she said.

Posh to stick to 'three-bite rule' at Christmas dinner

Former Spice Girls member Victoria Beckham has vowed to stick to her "three-bite rule" at Christmas dinner. Posh, 35, is said to have even told pals that the thought of eating turkey and all the trimmings puts her in a panic, and some have revealed she would "have a heart attack" if she had to eat the lot.

The singer, her husband David, 34, and their three sons are spending Christmas Day with chef Gordon Ramsay, 43.

Pop diva Madonna has chosen not to spend the festive season with her toy-boy Jesus Luz as she heads to London to spend Christmas with ex-husband Guy Ritchie. The 51-year-old singer is bringing the couples children Rocco, David Banda, her adopted daughter Mercy James, and her eldest child Lola, to see Ritchie for a traditional Christmas, reported Daily Mail online. Madonna is flying in so Guy can spend Christmas Day with the children.



Prince Harry, Chelsy Davy's 'elfish' Christmas e-card

Prince Harry and his girlfriend Chelsy Davy have sent their pals Christmas e-card, in which they portray themselves as dancing elves. Davy got pictures of herself and Harry and grafted their faces on to the bodies of elves. It resulted in a 44-second video of the elves breakdancing, jiving and turning somersaults to a funky version of Jingle Bells against a backdrop of snow.


Sonam Kapoor rings in Christmas festivities with poor kids

Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor gave out gifts and interacted with poor kids as part of Christmas celebrations at an event organised by an NGO in an effort to make this festive season special for the kids. Sonam expressed happiness at being part of the festivities.

"It is a very selfish thing when you give something to someone, you feel good about it. So, it's a very selfish thing for me to do, to come here and feel odd about myself," said Sonam.
