Harley-Davidson India organized the first official Harley-Davidson Founders’Ride in Bangalore.
The Founders ride gave Bangaloreans a feel for the pure Harley-Davidson experience.
The Ride, which brought together some of Bangalore’s most passionate Harley-Davidson enthusiasts on Sunday, was held for the third time in the city; next to New Delhi and Mumbai. The ride that kicked started at the Jayamahal Palace vroomed past Mekhri Circle to reach the International Airport and then returned back to the city, making a ride of over 60 kilometers, and thus giving the onlookers a chance to have a quick look at the bike.
The army of riders was led by Anoop Prakash, Managing Director of Harley-Davidson India, and Sanjay Tripathi, Director (Marketing), Harley-Davidson India, riding their model-year 2010 Harley-Davidson motorcycles. “We are excited to bring Harley-Davidson’s iconic motorcycles to Bangalore, where enthusiasm and passion for the Harley-Davidson brand is strong and deeply rooted,” said Anoop Prakash.
Harley will soon be available in the country, thus giving a chance to its lovers to buy it from within the country, and the company is hopeful that the Indian experiencewill be an enthralling one, and especially in years’ to come. “The long-term dream for many will soon be a reality. The bike has finally come to India. Initially we will get close to 15 models and see how people react to it,” said Anoop. He added: “Considering that there is already a huge cult for the bike, with so many of club’s across the country organizing similar kind of rides, we are hopeful that it will be much liked by people here.”
