Salman to play Mogambo on screen
Salman Khan,the golden hearted brat of bollywood, is all set to portray an out an out negative character for the first time on celluloid.He's been roped in to play the monumental character of "Magambo"in the sequel of Shekhar Kapoor's "Mr India featuring" Anil Kapoor , Sridevi and amrish Poori..Magambo is one of the all time siginificant villains ever played in bollywood.It seconds only to "Gabbar singh" in Sholay.Legendary Amrish Poori has made this Mogambo a legend with his performance in Mr India in 1980.
The character will be specially customized for Sallu bhai, who's been the good guy all this while. Even his rowdy characters were always more of heroic positive shades so far.A new look for the immortal character is being devised keeping Salman Khan in mind, for which the various permutations will be tested early next year and film will be go on floors in first quarter of 2010.
Mr India 2 will be produced by Boney Kapoor and Anees Bazmee will direct the flick.
The character of Anil Kapoor and Sridevi will be retained and is supposed to be played by them respectively.Anil Kapoor's new invention will help fight Mogambo to save the country from his wicked plans.
