Gorgeous Girlies! Hope you had a fabulous day today!
Are you excited for Sunday? What are your Easter plans? Whatcha making?
The boy had a meeting today in West Virginia. So i went along with him, and just hung out at the mall while he was at the meeting. I ended up packing us each lunches to take along.
With switching to a happier and healthier lifestyle one change that I wanted to make was to stop wasting so many baggies, and to actually save some money. Packing a lunch allows you to save hundreds of dollars each year. Not only is it a healthier option, but it allows me to control my portion sizes as well. Have you ever gone for a container and couldn't find the lid? I seriously hate that. So let me introduce you to my new favorite lunch box system the EasyLunchBox System!
I am loving the Easy Lunch Box System, because it not only can go in the dishwasher for easy clean up but it's taken portion sizing and money saving to the next level! With the EasyLunchBox System I am able to buy larger containers of applesauce and yogurt and just put it right in a side compartment.
The lunch bags come in fun vibrant colors, and are $7.95 each. The containers are fabulous and you get four of them for $13.95. They have three separate compartments, and are refrigerator, freezer, microwave and dishwasher safe! How fabulous is that! You can have the main course in the biggest compartment and portion control out two sides
The boys lunch consisted of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich (on extra large bread by the way), peanuts and Oreo cookies. He had a some chips in a baggy on the side just because they were left over from the other day.
My lunch consisted of a lettuce wrap and some strawberries
Stacks awesomely in the refrigerator.
Great for road trips! The EasyLunchBox System is not only great for portion controlling, but is great for your kids to take to school or for road trips. I would highly recommend this to any one who wants some sanity in their lives!
When we got back from WV I changed and went for a run. It was my most SUCCESSFUL run yet!! I have been doing this circle thats a decent distance and has a HUGE hill... well I made it around the whole thing without stopping! This was a huge moment for me, and I was very excited! I know it's probably not a big deal to most of you, but to me the girl who HATES running it was a serious deal! I definitely want to hit up the rail trail again tomorrow and see what kind of success I will have there.
Since we were gone all day, and didn't have dinner planned we just went to Subway and brought subs back home. I got a turkey on honey oat with lettuce, tomato, cucumber and pickles on it with a small amount of honey mustard. I also had a few Sunchips and an apple.
