Brandy To Be Charged With Manslaughter?

That's what the California Highway Patrol is recommending.

They have referred the case to the city attorney's office for review.

Brandy was involved in a freeway crash last month in which she was at fault. Awatef Aboudihaj, 38, a Los Angeles mother of one, was taken to Holy Cross Hospital and died the next day.


"The office is currently reviewing the case and determining whether the evidence warrants the filing of a misdemeanor charge of vehicular manslaughter," Nick Velasquez, city attorney spokesman said.

Former Bassist for Social D & Famous DJ Both Leave Us This Week

Former Social Distortion Bassist Brent Liles was struck by a truck as he rode his bike on the Orange Freeway in California today.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. He was 43.
An investigation into the accident is underway.




Another death has been announced today. Music Producer Disco-D, real name Davis Shayman, committed suicide Tuesday. His body was discovered in his New York home.

He was only 27.

Shayman had been diagnosed as being bi-polar and also suffered from depression.

His resume included commercials for Sprite and Best Buy, and he had worked with 50 Cent, Trick Daddy and Nina Sky. Shayman also produced KFed's flop 'Popozao'.

Prior to his death, he was working on music for video games and had a remix for Shiny Toy Guns in the works.

Nicole Kidman Sent to Hospital After Accident on Movie Set

According to UsWeekly, Nicole was rushed to a hospital last night after a stunt went bad.

Nicole was filming a scene where she was being towed in a Jaguar by a stunt driver (to appear as though she is driving) when he whipped around a corner causing her vehicle to slide sideways into a pole at 45mph.

10 year old Jackson Bond, also starring in the film, was riding in front when the accident occured.

Both were wearing seatbelts.

Kidman was released from the hospital within a couple of hours and resumed filming after a long break.
