Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne made an announcement yesterday that tickets to this summer's Ozzfest will be absolutely free. It is said that Alice in Chains will be just one of many bands to play the festival.







Keith Urban is suing an artist also by the name of Keith Urban, saying the the painter is using a site with his name to sell art.
Meanwhile all is good on the home front with the Keith and Nicole Kidman. The two are planning a romantic Valentine's Day together.




Ryan O'Neal is claiming that it was his son Griffin who was the aggressor in their domestic dispute which ended with shots being fired. On the other hand it is Griffin's attorneys who are saying that it was Ryan who in fact was to blame saying that he inflicted facial lacerations on the pregnant girlfriend of Griffin's. But it gets even weirder. Ryan apparently is also saying the reason he went off on Griffin and the girlfriend was after returning home from celebrating his 60th birthday with Farrah Fawcett he found his son Redmond, 21, tied up in a dog run. Griffin reportedly tied up the younger brother who was high on PCP at the time.

American Idol Hopefulls Already Having Pasts Drudged Up

Akron Watson, who was on last nights San Antonio episode with his cousin has been dropped from the competition.

He was dropped by producers via phone call and without explanation two days before leaving for Hollywood. As it turns out, Akron was arrested in 2003 for a marijuana related incident. His court records have been obtained and posted by PegasusNews.com.

Oh geeze, here we go. Reefer madness! It was three years ago, give the guy a break.

Another contestant from San Antonio, Ashlyn Carr, also has a past arrest on her record. Last August she was arrested for pouring sugar into an ex-boyfriends gas tank. She confessed to the crime. But the crime must not have been bad enough for AI producers to can her. Ashlyn continues on in the competition.

Ryan O'Neal Fights with Son, Pulls a Gun

Ryan O'Neal, 65, was arrested Saturday morning at his Malibu home after a fight with his son, Griffin, 42.


O'Neal was booked on charges of assault with a deadly weapon and negligent discharge of a firearm. He was released from jail at 5:30am and after posting $50,000 bail.

Police told TMZ.com that O'Neal fired at least one gunshot during the scuffle. A girlfriend of Griffin's was reportedly hurt during the domestic dispute, but police failed to specify if it was due to a gunshot or not.

Griffin is apparently just as screwed up as his father. He has had multiple run ins with the law..

"Griffin O'Neal, son of Ryan and Joanna Moore, is also no stranger to the law. The 42-year-old spent 18 days in jail for not performing the community service ordered by a judge who found him guilty of reckless boating in a 1986 accident that killed the son of film director Francis Ford Coppola."

Griffin also has a history of substance abuse. He pleaded no contest to a drunken driving charge in 1989. In 1992, he agreed to spend one year in a live-in drug rehabilitation program after pleading no contest to charges he shot at his estranged girlfriend's unoccupied car."

So this looks like one big happy fucked up family.

I find it apalling that #1, a father pulled a gun in a fight with his son, and #2, that back in 1986 Griffin couldn't even perform the community service requested of him for contributing to events that resulted in the death of a person. What a slap in the face to Francis Ford Coppola and family.

Brandy To Be Charged With Manslaughter?

That's what the California Highway Patrol is recommending.

They have referred the case to the city attorney's office for review.

Brandy was involved in a freeway crash last month in which she was at fault. Awatef Aboudihaj, 38, a Los Angeles mother of one, was taken to Holy Cross Hospital and died the next day.


"The office is currently reviewing the case and determining whether the evidence warrants the filing of a misdemeanor charge of vehicular manslaughter," Nick Velasquez, city attorney spokesman said.

Brandy Causes Fatal Auto Accident

TMZ is reporting that singer Brandy was involved in a fatal automobile accident last month. Eaarly reports are saying she was at fault.

The accident occurred while she was driving her '07 Land Rover on December 30th on the 405 freeway in LA. She was cruising along at 65mph, not noticing the slowing traffic ahead of her.

Brandy plowed into the back of a 2005 Toyota which in turn hit another Toyota. The 2005 Toyota flew sideways then hit a jersey barrier. That same car was then hit by a 1988 Acura.

The driver of the 2005 Toyota died a short time after the accident.

Reports say that Brandy was not injured and drugs & alcohol have not seemed to have been a factor.

Paris Hilton Gets a Slap on the Wrist

Paris Hilton pleaded no contest to charges of alcohol related reckless driving and was sentenced yesterday to 36 months probation plus a $390 fine.

She will also have to attend alcohol education classes. If Paris decides to perform 40 hours of community service (yeah right) her probation will be reduced to 24 months.

The Los Angeles City Attorney is pleased with the courts decision saying, "We felt that this deal was appropriate given the circumstances and we're satisfied with the outcome."

Sounds like someone got off pretty easy. Gee, I wonder why?

Tyrese Punches Pregnant Girlfriend

You know you're a man when you can take down a pregnant woman.

According to the website TMZ, Tyrese and his girlfriend got into a heated argument at around 5:30am this morning. It ended in Tyrese punching the girlfriend in the stomach. Not once, but twice.

Then the pansy-ass took off in a car before paramedics & police arrived.

Police are doing an investigation.

Hopefully he won't be getting away with it.


*EDIT: New reports coming in are saying that he struck her in her arm and thigh. Sounds like someone at TMZ got a little carried away with their story.

Mike Tyson Busted for, Well, Everything!

Mike Tyson, 40, was arrested in Scottsdale, AZ at 1:45am this morning after nearly hitting a Sheriff Deputy's car...and not with his fist.

He had left a nightclub shortly before the incident occurred.

Tyson appeared in County Superior Court in Phoenix a short while later. He was released without bond on a felony drug possession charge. The DUI charges are pending his toxicology test results.

While the case is pending Tyson must succumb to drug and alcohol testing.

During his hearing he actually thanked Commissioner Sheila Madden. He did not enter a plea and did not have a lawyer.

"He showed signs of impairment and voluntarily submitted to field sobriety tests," the arresting offer said.

He also stated that Tyson was "showing more signs of impairment" while performing field sobriety tests.

So police then searched Tyson & his BMW, where they found cocaine. And how. A bag of cocaine in each of Mike's back pockets, and a baggie in a cigarette box on the front seat. Tyson had also been wiping a white substance off of his dash when police approached his vehicle.

The officer also stated that tests showed that Mike was "under the influence of a depressant, stimulant and cannabis."

Tyson admitted remorsefully that he "was an addict" and "has a problem." He admitted possessing the bags of cocaine, and said he uses it "anytime (he) can get his hands on it."


I feel bad for the guy. He is screwed up. Big time.

I've told you all before that I met the guy in Vegas, and he was nothing but cool as hell to my husband and I. Tyson and I talked for a bit about tattoos, and just down to earth stuff. He even let me get a picture..to his bodyguards dismay.

I got the feeling that he was really a good guy deep down. Just really damaged. And it sounds like he is truly sorry for where he is at in life right now.

It's too bad, because there isn't a lot of hope for him right now. I'm probably one of the only people who won't be talking snidely about him today.

I truly hope he finally gets the help that he so desperately needs.

Phish Frontman Busted for DUI

Trey (Ernest) Anastasio was pulled over and arrested for driving under the influence of drugs in upstate New York at 3:30am this morning.



















Trey was pulled over for "failing to keep to right side of the road".

You know he was feeling no pain as the police found Vicodin, Percocet and Xanax in his car. The pills had been prescribed to someone else.

To top this off, Anastasio was driving with a suspended NY license.

He has been charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and driving while intoxicated-drugs.

Nicole Richie to do Mandatory Jail Time?

This is Nicole's second DUI in California. She scored her first one four years ago and pled no contest.

If she is convicted of this most recent DUI she will have to do five consecutive days in jail as well as a one year license suspension.

But that's not all.

She would also have to attend an alcohol education program for a year and a half. (Do they have a cocaine education program?)

In documents from her 2002 case, Nicole had stated to police that all she had eaten that day were some french fries and had one shot of vodka, which is like 5 shots to the normal person..

She blew twice, a 1.2 and a 1.3.

She was pulled over for running a red light and flying over a 15mph speed bump at 50mph.

The report said that her eyes were glossy and red and that she couldn't keep her balance.

She was given three years probation and had her license suspended for a year. Just six months later she was arrested for possession of heroin and for driving with a suspended license.

Quite the rap sheet. I'd have to say that Nicole deserves the jail time, to lose her license and to attend the classes. But I would be willing to bet that they only give her a slap on the wrist, because you know, she's famous.
