Katharine McPhee has come a long way since starring on American Idol.



I saw this picture of her and thought, 'One year ago hardly anyone knew who this chick was, and here she is at a Marc Jacobs fashion show mingling with the stars and looking all JLo on our ass.'

The second thing I thought was, 'That nose won't last long.'

Sucked into the Tinseltown Machine, being molded and conformed only to emerge a shallow, snobbish shell of once was. It might not happen, but odds are against her. Pretty soon she won't even remember where she is from.

Paris Hilton Gets a Slap on the Wrist

Paris Hilton pleaded no contest to charges of alcohol related reckless driving and was sentenced yesterday to 36 months probation plus a $390 fine.

She will also have to attend alcohol education classes. If Paris decides to perform 40 hours of community service (yeah right) her probation will be reduced to 24 months.

The Los Angeles City Attorney is pleased with the courts decision saying, "We felt that this deal was appropriate given the circumstances and we're satisfied with the outcome."

Sounds like someone got off pretty easy. Gee, I wonder why?
