Brittany Murphy's husband Simon Monjack found dead ...

Police say the husband of deceased actress Brittany Murphy has been found dead, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Sgt. Louie Lozano of the Los Angeles Police Department tells the paper that screenwriter Simon Monjack was found dead Sunday night at his home in the Hollywood Hills.

Lozano says that the cause of death was still unknown as of late Sunday and officers were still at the scene investigating.

The report comes five months after the death of his wife. The Los Angeles County coroner's office ruled that Murphy died of pneumonia complicated by an iron deficiency, anemia and multiple drug intoxication.

Coroner's officials say Murphy had gone into sudden cardiac arrest because of "drug intake," and her Dec. 20 death was classified as an accident.

Los Angeles police spokesman couldn't be immediately reached for comment early Monday.

Busou Renkin (2006 - 2007)

BUSOU RENKIN
DIRECTED BY: TAKAO KATO
MANAGE BY: NOBUHIRO WATSUKI
STUDIO: XEBEC
NUMBER OF EPISODES: 26
OVERALL SCORE: 6.25/10

After sacrificing his life to save the life of Tokiko, an arms alchemy warrior battling those who would use it for evil, Kazuki Muto is offered a Kakugane, alchemy stone, as a replacement to his heart. Now with no real shot at a normal life, Kazuki teams up with Tokiko to read the world of evil alchemy users.

Think of Full Metal Alchemist. Take all the cliches of the man grows strong to save woman genre. Through in a kick ass female lead. And you've pretty much got Watsuki's, writer of the infamous Rurouni Kenshin, latest offering. It's a battle against genre cliches, that both aid, and hurt the series throughout its 26 episodes.

Where Renkin separates itself is in its characters. A clear romantic lead subtext, strong concentration on building the characters with action secondary, and some of the most "unique" characters you'll ever find. All of these make Busou Renkin an exciting show, but also offer a divide for viewers that they may never overcome.

For, you see, these characters range from the kind hearted lead to a butterfly dressing perverted sociopath, who enjoys feeding off people, and well, let's just say is one hell of a creepy character. It works as much as it fails, ultimately leaving the dynamic relationship between the two leads as the main staying force.

This relationship is strong, and the characters are well developed, but as the episodes wear on it gets a bit repetitive. Especially as a slew of new characters are introduced in the final 10 episodes, all leading up to the big finale. Perhaps that's where my shakey feelings for the show go.

It's one of those shows that's never so bad you have to turn it off, but never so good that you feel like you absolutely have to see the next episode. It's too predictable, even in its characterizations, despite the fact that it tries to take them to deeper levels than before. It works because there's little to hate about it. But at the same time it fails to inspire because it's way too safe of a series.

Even its opening song (despite being incredibly catchy - I mean it, I had it stuck in my head for hours) is a rather safe, loud, rock ballad. It's one of those shows that bothers you for the chances it doesn't take, rather than the strength of what it really presents. That may not be fair, but when you're a legendary manga author, I'd love for just a little chance to have been taken.

Busou Renkin breaks no new ground in terms of its genre characters and story. Instead it tries to offer you a refreshing deeper look at the characters, which barely succeeds given the strength of the talent involved. Unfortunately there's just not enough there to tie it all together, and make it as epic as it possessed the strength to be.

Call of Duty: Black Ops – Trailer Release Date during NBA Finals

Call of Duty: Black Ops – Trailer Release Date during NBA Finals

When Call of Duty Black Ops has been announced a couple of weeks ago, we haven’t seen much because Treyarch and Activision didn’t give us too much in that teaser trailer. Well, both companies have released the first full Call of Duty Black Ops trailer and you can watch it at the end of the post so scroll down if you cannot wait any longer.

The Call of Duty Black Ops world premiere occurred during the NBA finals and I honestly have to say a few things about the trailer. First of all, the graphics don’t look as good as they were in Modern Warfare 2, but they are still decent and they will definitely get better. I don’t deny the fact that this is just a preview or that I might not see that well.

However the good thing is that we’re going to get more action than in Modern Warfare 2. But then again, this is just the first trailer and things might change along the way. Check out the trailer.....

Also remember that the Call of Duty Black Ops release date is November 9th, 2010 and that you can pre-order it at Amazon right here with free shipping for all platforms.

Barbara Mori Wiki | Who is Barbara Mori ? ? ? ? ?

Barbara Mori Wiki | Who is Barbara Mori ? ? ? ? ?

What comes to your mind when you hear the name, Barbara Mori? That she is hot. And that she is Hrithik Roshan's girl in Kites. Surely there's more to this actress than just oomph. Let's find out.

Roots
Thirty-two-year-old Barbara's full name is Barbara Mori Ochoa. Her roots make her truly belong to the 'exotic' category. She was born on February 2, 1978 in Uruguay, and her Japanese roots come from her father's side. Her mother is Mexican. Her parents, Yuyi Mori and Rosario Ochoa, divorced when she was barely three. Barbara spent her childhood in Mexico and Uruguay. Mexican actor, singer and producer Sergio Mayer and Barbara have a son in his pre-teens.

How did Barbara enter showbiz?
She was a 14-year-old waitress when fashion designer Marcos Toledo discovered her mesmerising beauty. Barbara went on to model, and act in Mexican telenovelas and soaps where she became popular. She later studied acting at the Center for Acting Studies. She also won the Best New Actress award for Mirada de Mujer among others.

Bollywood break
Directors Rakesh Roshan and Anurag Basu were sure they wanted to look for an actress fluent in Spanish and who did not know either Hindi or English for Kites. So, Rakesh met some artistes in Hollywood, but later decided to take a Spanish actress on his friend's recommendation. On seeing his first Spanish film which incidentally had Barbara in it, he instantly liked her and got Anurag's approval as well. Needless to say, Hrithik Roshan loved her, too. Rakesh, Anurag and Barbara met in Los Angeles for a narration and decided to work together.

Kissing Controversy
Like all films in B'wood, the Hrithik-Barbara hot scenes in Kites generated a lot of buzz, and led to rumours of a torrid affair between the two. So much so that, apparently Hrithik's wife Sussane and his father and filmmaker Rakesh Roshan took up the matter with the actor. Hrithik and Sussane later kissed in public to show their love for each other. But in hindsight, it all seems like part of the promotional strategy for the film. Now Barbara claims to talk to Sussane everyday on the phone as a friend. The two women in Hrithik's life also posed together for pictures at the Kites premiere in New York. Of course, Sussane was standing in between the two.

Bold and beautiful
When Rakesh and Anurag met Barbara in LA, they were taken aback as she was almost bald. She had shaved her head for her film Cosas Insignificantes where she played mother to a cancer-stricken son (and going bald was her way of showing love and support towards the child). But the actress promised that her hair would grow soon enough to start shooting for Kites.

Cancer survivor
Barbara did not just play mother to a cancer patient; she was a struck by the disease herself which was fortunately diagnosed in its early stages. Director Anurag Basu and Barbara Mori are both cancer survivors, and bonded over that big time on the sets of Kites. And just like actress Lisa Ray shared her struggle against the dreaded disease on her blog, Barbara has shared hers in Namrata Singh Gujral's docu-drama titled 1 a Minute, to release in 2010. In fact, Lisa Ray also stars in the film as a survivor, apart from other celebs like Olivia Newton-John, Diahann Carroll, Melissa Etheridge, Mumtaz, William Baldwin, Daniel Baldwin, Priya Dutt, Deepak Chopra and
Morgan Brittany.

Future
The success or failure of Kites will determine how the Hindi film industry welcomes Barbara. She starred in Kites as she couldn't speak Hindi or English – which essentially means she will really have to work hard if she wants big banner films in both Bollywood and Hollywood. But when did language really pay a hurdle if you have the talent and the looks? So here's wishing Barbara great success.

Lesbian Lover | Lindsay Lohan Indrani Hot Photoshoot

Lindsay Lohan's new girlfriend: Indrani, celebrity photographer and, more to the point, reality show star

Lohan Dating Female Photographer?

Does Lindsay Lohan have a new girlfriend? According to the latest gossip, 23-year-old troubled starlet Lindsay Lohan has allegedly been dating
36-year-old photographer Indrani since the two worked together on a photo shoot last fall.

Lindsay Lohan & Indrani (Markus Klinko and Indrani)
Indrani, part of the iconic (but recently bankrupt) photographer duo Markus Klinko and Indrani, told the New York Post she and Lohan have been “spending a lot of time together.”
“I have never had a relationship with a woman before,” Indrani said, “but Lindsay is just somebody who I find fascinating, gorgeous and extremely smart, as well as super-hot.”
Indrani’s photographer partner, Markus Klinko, said the two have been dating on and off since they worked together on a photo shoot last year. “Lindsay and Indrani have been seeing each other since we shot her last fall,” Klinko said. “I’ve seen them on dates; I have seen them making out… Indrani is a good influence on Lindsay.”
Um, considering that Lindsay Lohan seems to be in the news lately primarily for being a falling-down drunk, ranting incoherently on Twitter and throwing drinks at ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson – we’re not really seeing any kind of ‘good influence’ going on here…
We don’t know if this rumor is true or not, but either way we can’t wait to see what Lindsanity posts to her Twitter feed on this one!

Russell Crowe As Robin Hood | An Interview With Russell Crowe

Russell Crowe: No tights for Robin Hood

Academy Award winner Russell Crowe is the latest actor to portray Nottingham's outlaw hero, in Ridley Scott's "Robin Hood," which opened in Chicago on Friday. For this first "Dean's List" column, I was the guest of Universal Pictures in Beverly Hills to talk with Crowe who — working with director Scott — won the Oscar for best actor in 2000's "Gladiator." Crowe has also earned critical praise for his performances in "A Beautiful Mind," "The Insider" and "State of Play."

Dean Richards: Why has the
Robin Hood legend endured through literature and for so many movie and television incarnations?

Russell Crowe: Depending on with which historian you go, there are some people who believe the core of Robin Hood starts in 870 A.D. If that's true, then this story is the oldest tale in the English language in which the central character is an Englishman. I think that there is a very compelling center to him. I like that there is somebody out there who cares enough to redress the balance of power and steal from the rich to give to the poor, even though in our version, we don't use that in a literal sense. We sort of leap off into the metaphorical, where we're looking at the rights and privileges of the ruling class.

Q

Which of the old movie versions of Robin Hood have been your favorites?

A

I've seen them all and I've seen them all through my life as opposed to sitting down and watching them all in one go. I've seen Errol Flynn and … I was a big fan of Richard Todd's version ("The Story of Robin Hood and His Merrie Men") in 1952.

Q

What about Mel Brooks' "Robin Hood: Men in Tights?"

A

Absolutely! That was one of the things that Ridley and me sat down and talked about. We said it was one of the best Robin Hoods ever made because he just liberally smashes all these people that have been hanging on to the same half a dozen cliches through the years.

Q

Were you relieved when you learned that there would be no tights involved in this version of Robin Hood?

A

I apologize to everybody who wants tights. That never made sense to me, right! You're a bloke, you live in the forest, and you wear tights? You climb up and down trees … you presumably get into some brambles and stuff. Are you sure that tights are the best thing to wear? Plus, they weren't even invented for another three or four hundred years so, we just went with the practical.

Q

What was it like for you (recently) when you got the star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame? Is that kind of a profound thing for an actor?

A

That would be overstating it, but what was nice about it, was that I got to share it with my family. My boys are old enough to realize that it was a special occasion. And they were incredibly well-behaved. I was expecting at any moment, there was going to be an explosion with them. The other thing that it gives you is that opportunity to thank all the people that you've worked with; to stand in front of people like Jeffrey Katzenberg and Ron Howard and Brian Grazer and just let them know that from my heart that a film set is the place where I am most at home. And thank you very much for allowing me to do the job. Yeah, so, it's a privilege and it was really pleasant, but I'm not sure that I would call it profound.

"Robin Hood" hits the bullseye | Robin Hood Movie Review and Rating

"Robin Hood" hits the bullseye

The Ridley Scott/Russell Crowe reincarnation of Robin Hood actually ends just where
you might expect it start. You can take any story or character you've come to know, at least from previous films of the hooded vigilante, and throw them out the window.
Most notable is the fact that, while Crow and his buddies were archers in King Richard’s army, that is about the extent of the archery in the film. There are a few scenes, including a to-be-expected sweet shot to finish the film off, but Crowe is more into swordplay here. There is the implication that bow and arrow are more suitable for an outlaw, as a stealth weapon. Of course, Crowe doesn’t play an outlaw in this film, either.
But it is exactly seeing all these familiar characters in such a different light that makes this Robin Hood rehash so fun to watch. Robin Longstride, later to become Robin Loxley, has deserted the army after 10 years of war, searching for a new life; Prince John (Oscar Isaac) is mildly humorous with some admiral fight in him, who also possesses other endearing qualities, Marion Loxley (Cate Blanchett) is the formerly wealthy wife of a landowner, but now mostly a poor farmer; the Sheriff of Nottingham (Matthew Macfadyen) is negligent - sniveling and without power; and Nottingham itself is an unknown city. Though Mark Strong, playing the villain Godfrey, does pay homage to its future fame, borrowing from Billy the Kid when he says, "I'll make the town famous."
The story takes us with Robin Longstride on his quest to return the sword of a fallen soldier to its owner, the soldier's father, Sir Walter Loxley of Nottingham. It is a fools quest, but Robin is entranced with the writing on the hilt of the sword, and desperate to understand the meaning from the mouth of the sword's owner. What awaits Robin in Nottingham, however, is a vision into his forgotten past, and a paved (though often blocked by many who wish him dead) road to his future.
Crowe is more of a scrapper in the film, not yet filling the boots of leader and outlaw. But seeing him working to that end, following the transition, makes the character relatable and enjoyable to watch.
While Strong offers a somewhat typical, overly evil and over the top bad guy, we don't really care much about him and his stagnant character. We're watching Prince John balance his desire for power with a desire to be a hero warrior and loved by his people. We're watching Friar Tuck (Mark Addy) begin crossing the line to aid the outlaws. We're watching the French invade England, Little John (Kevin Durand) find love and the formation of Robin's merry band of thieves.
Laid to rest are my fears that Crowe and director Ridley Scott were creating a medieval "Gladiator." Instead they created a "Batman Begins" type story for one of the most famous outlaws ever to live. 19th Century England will never be the same.
As long as you watched "Iron Man 2" last weekend, this is the only choice for you weekend trip to the theater. And you'd better see it soon, because this summer has so much more in store.
RATING: HOT (4.5 of 5)
"Robin Hood" is rated PG-13 for violence including intense sequences of warfare, and some sexual content. Running time 140 minutes.

Sandra Bullock Gives Her Son a Bris

Sandra Bullock broke her silence this week in an exclusive interview to People magazine. This is the first time she has spoken out in months, choosing to keep mum amidst the media uproar that arose after news first broke regarding her husband, Jesse James' serial infidelity.

Bullock appears on the cover of the current issue of People with her newly adopted son Louis, a 3-month old from New Orleans that Bullock and James adopted months ago before the scandal broke. Adamant to keep their lives private and the adoption a secret, no one - not even the couple's friends knew about the baby until Sandra came forward this week. She has decided to continue with the adoption proceedings as a single parent.
Interestingly enough, in the interview Sandra beings up her son's bris. Yes, that's right - his bris.
She says: "A friend of ours helped arrange for a bris at the house, because we couldn't go [to a hospital for the procedure]. The mohel [a person trained in the practice] came to us. You have never seen adults more panicked about what was about to happen to their son, but the celebration and the amount of love we felt and the pride in the little man whom we love so, so much became the greatest moment I have ever had in my life."
Speculation has slammed the Internet, questioning why Bullock would give her son a bris if neither of his parents are Jewish. Rumors surrounding her possible ties to the Jewish people have been floating around for some time now, but no one seems to be able to pinpoint whether or not Sandra Bullock comes from Jewish lineage or not. Her mother's name is Helga Meyer, but that last name is as likely to be ethnically German as it is Jewish, so the jury's still out.

Adding to the confusion regarding this Jewish ritual appearing out of nowhere is the fact that Jesse James has been rumored to have somewhat of a Nazi-obsession, and a picture was released a few weeks ago showing James in full Nazi mode, wearing an SS officer's hat and demonstrating his 'sieg heil.' His father spoke out after the interview as well, confirming that his son always had somewhat of an unhealthy interest in the SS.

Sandra claims she knew nothing at all of her husband's Nazi obsession. "The photo shocked me and made me sad. This is not the man I married. This was stupid, this was ignorant. Racism, anti-Semitism, sexism, homophobia, anything Nazi and a boatload of other things have no place in my life... and the man I married felt the same. This is something I hope Jesse will address one day, but it is not the world I live in, or have ever lived in, and have any tolerance for."
At the time, James attorney Joe Yanny, assured the media that the photo was really no big deal, despite being 'in poor taste,' since James Jewish godfather allegedly gave his godson the hat as a gag gift. And apparently if he's Jewish, then it must be fine! Possessing Nazi memorabilia does not make someone a neo-Nazi, Yanny said. As evidence that James is no anti-Semite, the lawyer also pointed out that James lived for nearly a month in an Israeli kibbutz.
Hardly concrete evidence.
The interview closes with a quote from Sandra regarding what she wants to teach her new son.
"I want him to know no limits on where he can go. I want him to experience all culture, nationalities, countries and people like I did. I want his mind to be open and free. We were raised that we are all the same. No one greater, smarter, more powerful. We are all equal. I would love for Louis to know that . He has a big, beautiful, diverse family. As long as he knows he is loved and protected and given the opportunity to touch and see everything, then I will have done my job as a momma."

Kim Kardashian Gets In Trouble With PETA

Kim Kardashian Cat Picture, Photo Angers PETA. Kim Kardashian got herself into some hot water with a cat picture that was posted on Twitter. In the photo, Kardashian is holding a cat by the nape of the neck. Of course, this means that PETA is in outrage. After all…how dare someone hold a cat by the nape of their neck.

PETA was stern in lecturing Kardashian, stating that they don’t want people to mishandle cats and the way that Kim was holding the cat in the photo could make people mishandle animals.

Other animal rights organizations have been softer, but do mention that supporting the rump of the cat will go a long way in ensuring that it doesn’t get hurt.

Kim Kardashian has spoken out, alleviating the minds of cat lovers everywhere. The cat’s owner and vet were present on the shoot and told her how to pick it up and that animal lovers can rest assured that the cat was in no way harmed.

The picture was snapped as Kim K finished up a nude photoshoot with Allure magazine. In addition to the controversial cat photo, Kardashian has been criticized for tweeting leaked photos of her nephew, Mason Dash Disick – although her big sis Kourtney forgives her.

Catherine Zeta-Jones - Naughty at Forty

Actress Catherine Zeta-Jones said in a recent interview that is proud of her body and has no problem with nudity, despite the fact that he avoided in film strip that was distributed. Welsh actress has recently proved that there is a Puritan and agreed to pose nude for U.S. magazine Allure.

In this way, Catherine Zeta-Jones was keen to show the world that has lost all curves, despite their recent photos of the paparazzi, which is very weak.

Star said on this occasion that is proud of her body at the age of 40 years, and I always felt this.

In the interview that accompanied the pictorial for Allure magazine, the actress confessed Welsh future plans, saying he wants to live on a boat and travel around the world.

Catherine zeta jones is naked, f’able- 2

Hollywood actress Catherine Zeta-Jones has revealed she is inspired by 1940s styling and the way women managed to look good on a limited budget.

The 40-year-old who is married to Michael Douglas admires the way women in war time were able to economise but still managed to look glamorous, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

"In the 1940s, it was a wartime, and women had to make best of what they had, whether it be using super-red lipstick or throwing an eyeliner pencil up the back up the leg for the nylon. They had limited resources, and they made the best of themselves," she said.

The brunette star who has been the face of cosmetic brand Elizabeth Arden for eight years however admits she doesn't need to economise with her beauty regime, much to the unhappiness of her husband.

"I'm still a fiend for Arden. I can't get enough. Every time my husband sees anyone from Arden, he's like, 'How much more do we have to put in the bathroom?' I'm like, 'Excuse me, it's my job. I need to test everything'," she said.

Zeta-Jones has also teamed up with Arden to create a limited-edition charity lipstick in aid of Look Good...Feel Better, an organisation which helps boost the self-esteem of people undergoing cancer treatment and the actress is proud to be able to help.

"It really is amazing what the charity does for these women. They lose their hair and eyebrows-what they had used, as woman, as a strength and for empowerment. So we thought that it would be a great idea to give back to strong, powerful women," she said.

The lipstick, which costs $20, sees all of the profits from each sale going directly to the charity.

Catherine zeta jones is naked, f’able- 1

She made a few hearts skip a beat when she peeled off her top for Antonio Banderas in Zorro.

Catherine Zeta Jones is naked in the new issue of Allure magazine, and she looks amazing considering she’s 40. She looks even more amazing considering she’s not 40 like she says she is, and actually is closer to 50. Either way she’s now officially the oldest woman in Hollywood I’d have sex with. Before this it was Selena Gomez.

But Catherine Zeta-Jones has largely frustrated her army of male fans by keeping a pretty modest profile in her acting roles.

However, she's no prude, as she proved by stripping off and sprawling across a bed for a racy photoshoot for an American women's magazine, Allure.
She shows she hasn't lost all her curves despite recent paparazzi pictures which suggested her frame was shrinking and prompted a few Catherine Zeta-Bones headlines.
CZJ says in the accompanying interview that she's proud of her body at the age of 40 - and always has been.
Mrs Michael Douglas, currently starring in Broadway show A Little Night Music in New York, was happy to drop the robe for the nude section of the shoot and says nudity is not an issue for her.
She then said: 'That's when your dancing days and being in theatre pay off.
'When you're doing a quick change, you don't give a s*** who sees you.'
However, while Zeta-Jones may be no shrinking violet, she revealed in an interview earlier this year how she's having to cover up more since moving to New York.
The Welsh actress told US chat show host David Letterman that she has had to stop running around her garden naked after moving from the privacy of Bermuda to bustling New York.
She told Letterman how she used to frolic nude at the sprawling Bermuda mansion where she lived with husband Michael Douglas, 65, and their children.
But these days her al fresco fun has ended since the family moved to the Big Apple last year.
In the interview with Allure she also revealed her plans for the future with her family, saying she would love to live on a boat and sail around the world. 'I wouldn't be surprised if [we do] that.'
