Happy New Years from MOB !

Happy New Years to all of our viewers and supporters of The MOB Lifestyle !! Despite the fact that we literally brought our New Year's in a cab, this New Year will be one we'll never forget. We attended a socialite/entrepreneur's party by the name of Duckie Brown in the city at a nice lounge. As soon as we got to the club we saw our wonderful friend Qua, we got our drinks and dance the night away, and the rest of the night was history. The event we attended was a strict suit and tie for the guys, (YES us ladies love a guy in a suit) and the ladies wore nice dresses either black, metallic or a lot of sequins! Of course MOB had to shoutout the best dressed (in our opinion) MOE ! (@Moee_betta). The Paul Stuart velvet blazer jacket he wore to top the suit off. From there, our weekend wasn't over. On 1.1.11 MOB attended another party New hosted by Splash Ent. x Guess Who Ent x PDees of NY. Although it was hell to get into that party, we still pulled some strings and got through. We only partied for about 1hr and 30mins but SO WHAT! We made the best of it. Surprised to see our brother Mark, we were also happy. Overall a lot of people showed MOB a lot of love, I believe we were truly missed. Lol. Check out the pics below!

Kaws x RxArt x Kiehl’s

New York artist Kaws has teamed up with non-profit RxArt and with premium cosmetics brand Kiehl’s. The outcome is a special skin moisterizer that features the art of Kaws prominently on most parts of the bottle. The price ranges from $26 - $70.
The special Kiehl’s Christmas package collabo with Kaws landed in their New York flagship store. Of course the initiative is being promoted with window display graphics and in-store installations, all featuring the art of Kaws.

Shit looks dope and very eye catching.

Here we take a look at the limited edition bottle that the artist designed. These special bottles come with a Kaws Companion toy at the top. Furthermore they worked with Harper’s Bazaar Korea on a cover feature and spread in the magazine.

On top of all the collaboration and moisterizing, MOB's dear friend Mark won a wonderful prize to meet the Mr. Kaws man himself. Congrats Mark.

Jay-z’s “Answer the Call” 911 Benefit Concert

On Friday September 11th,2009 8 years after the tragic attacks, Jay-Z held a "Answer the Call" benefit concert at Madison Square Garden where all proceeds would go to the families & victims of the 911 World Trade Center attacks. He raised over 1 million dollars. M.O.B's own Fashion & Saddity attended this concert alone :-( but of course it was like all 4 of us were there together. I must say the concert was insane & I loved every minute of it !

Jay came out & performed "Empire State of Mind" off of his latest Blueprint 3 album as his first song. I must say it set the tone completely ! Alicia Keys wasn't there to sing but Bridget Kelly did sing her part and she did good at it !

Other special guest performers included Memphis Bleek, Rihanna, Beyonce, Kanye West, Pharrell, Diddy, John Mayer, Kid Cudi, Swizz Beats and Mary J. Blige
