The throne has gotten bigger, apparently. Jay-Z and Kanye has now made Watch The Throne, a full album! Kanye West made the statement this past New Years at Marquee nightclub during his "Runaway" in Las Vegas that the album could be dropped as early as next week. And tonight, he assured that the CD will be dropping next week in a tweet/twitpic (@KanyeWest). However there are rumors that the album will be dropping in early March. Whether it be a single or an album dropping next week I'm sure it's highly anticipated by many, so patiently we wait !!
While the MOB girls were out partying in the city, Jay-Z, Kanye West and Rihanna gave it up at Marquee Night Club. Jay-Z perform at the Grand Opening of the Cosmopolitan Resort with ColdPlay. He also brought out his little brother Kanye to perform "Runaway". At the new resort he booked 50 rooms for him and his entourage. Yep HOV is way pasted "BALLIN!"
A little disturbing but he definitely gave a full understanding of the song, MONSTER ! This reminds me of Thriller, but of course nothing can fully compare to MJ's work. From the corpse of a half naked women, to Rick Ross blowing his cigar smoke to the hanging beautiful women. YES, weird we know ! No word on when the song's full music video will debut, or whether or not Bon Iver, who sings the spooky intro, gets in on the "Monster" mash.
Hov is releasing an autobiographical book in titled "Decoded" which touches his life from growing up in Marcy Projects to being a Hip Hop Mogul! Jay-Z teamed up with Bing for a scavenger hunt of select pages from his book, which were hidden in different cities around the world. Gucci also took part in Jay's game, and Gucci’s creative director Frida Giannini designed the jacket that remained in the NYC Fifth Avenue flagship store window until the book went on sale today. Finally, after the book is released, the one-of-kind leather jacket will be given to Jay-Z as a gift. SWEEET!
"Exclusive leather bomber jacket with two pages from the book on the interior lining. ."
Ok, sorry for the random outburst. . But I'm somewhat excited for the release of Nicki Minaj's DEBUT album at the end of November! Rumor has it that she will be dropping her album the same day as Kanye's & also Jay-Z's "The Hits Collection Vol.1" Album. That'll be big if the rumor is true! Whatever she decides to do we wish you the best of luck Nicki!! You deserve it barb because you defenitely have been doing your thing !!
I love this song so much, and I'm so mad I didn't attend the Jay-Z concert at the Yankee Stadium. So I just youtube it, played it really loud in my room. It almost felt the same LOL.
You would've thought Jay-Z would be tired by now, attending Fashion Night Out, with performing at two sold out shows, and partying at the 40/40. HOV is just never going to stop! Last night Jay made the city "Light Up" at Provacateur a club in Manhttan's MeatPacking District by hosting GQ's event. Jay teamed up with GQ to show off his new and improved line of RocaWear. This is great, can you say Rosewood movement ?
"People listen to all different sorts of music," he said. "People are inspired by all different walks of life and culture. It just is what it is. For people to try to put it in these segments, I don't think that's fair. Like people saying I couldn't play Glastonbury all over again. It's back to that again, you know what I'm saying?"
I LOVE THIS!
illuminati hand shake
Trey Songz as guest performer. He always has to OD.
This Sept. Tuesday 13th and Wed 14th Jay-Z and Eminem had their first ever concert together at the Yankee Stadium. Being a New Yorker is a great privilege, lots of other (boring) states don't get this opportunity. Bringing two different types of rapping to one stage the two had a remarkable show. First Jay-Z and Drake performs Light Up, as well as Nicki Minaj, Kanye West accompanies HOV with performing MONSTER!
Semi swag for Drake in this pic, minus the infamous shaking hand.

Le'bron throws up the ROC and I'm pretty sure the three lines on the side of his hat are the BP3 symbols.
P.S. why did Ye' wear the same outfit as he did in the VMA's I guess he's Kanye West so we really can't say shit !
AHHH! Willow ^_^, she comes from a family full of talent, so that's nothing less than what i expected from her ! Her debut single 'Whip My Hair' hit the internet earlier last week by storm and ever since then she had nothing but BUZZ ! ( This song gets numerous plays from me on a day to day basis :-) )
Roc Nation says:
"Roc Nation is proud to present the next international music sensation, Willow Smith. The 9-year old trendsetter announced Roc Nation as her official musical home this morning with Ryan Seacrest on his show “On-Air with Ryan Seacrest” along with Roc Nation founder Shawn “JAY-Z” Carter. Her official first single “Whip My Hair,” produced by newcomer Jukebox, has launched to rave reviews. Willow’s debut video will be shot in Los Angeles at the end of this month. The catchy tune is a celebration of freedom, energy, expression and liberating yourself by “whipping your hair.”
On the partnership with Roc Nation, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith stated, “After meeting with several record companies, it was clear that JAY-Z, Ty Ty, Jay Brown and the Roc Nation staff was the unquestionable choice. Their passion for Willow combined with their boundless vision and artistic integrity made Roc Nation the perfect home for our little girl.”
On Willow’s unprecedented poise and talent Shawn “JAY-Z” Carter commented, “We at Roc Nation are excited to work with Willow. She has an energy and enthusiasm about her music that is truly infectious. It’s rare to find an artist with such innate talent and creativity at such a young age. Willow is about to embark on an incredible journey and we look forward to joining her as she grows in all aspects of her career.”
Eventful day for the Most Officials & Family.. What was thought to be a regular day turned into something quite big. Making my usual rounds around NYC I ran into Malik Yoba from NY Undercover & Why Did I Get Married.. I couldn't let him go without getting a quick pic!
AND THENNN, while that was going on I get a picture message from my mother whom I would've rather been with at that time than where I was at.. So before I even opened the pic I see Jay-Z. I said to myself maybe this is just a "wanna be down" moment that parents have.. until I opened it and her & my sister are posing NEXT to him.. I almost fainted on site, but I held my composure, lol. My mother spoke about how humble he was and even though his security didn't want him to take the picture he did anyway. She said he was so down to earth and nice, lol. Kudos to them ! ♥
You would have thought Beyonce was from Brooklyn they way she reps it, but I'm sure it's for her man and it shows dedication lol idk ? Beyonce was spotted club hopping in Chelsea late last night with her husband Jay-z while showing off her new “Brooklyn” tattoo. Anywhooo Beyonce also has a new video dropping out soon called,"Why Don't You Love" off her " I Am Sasha Fierce " Album.
Absolut collaborated with Jay-Z giving an intimate glimpse into Jay-Z’s childhood, his motivation as an artist and the moments leading to the September 11th benefit concert at Madison Square Garden which we attended. The star-studded event boasted an array of guests, from old friends Mary J. Blige and Diddy to new Hov associates Kid Cudi and John Mayer. Check out the 15-minute short film ft. John Mayer directed by Danny Clinch.
Jay-Z's done it again! And knowing us, we couldn't miss it. Yesterday March 2nd,2010 he continued on the BP3 tour and his next stop was MSG in New York. The energy he brought? C R A Z Y! Then again that is nothing new to Hov.
We got there while Trey was performing and I must admit he brought the ladies out & had them OPEN! He brought Fab out to perform "Say Ahh"..
NY-Z? If you were in attendance you would understand :) but he SHUT IT DOWN! As much times as I've seen Hov perform the energy never changes. He brought Jeezy out, Jeezy brought Akon. I never saw Jeezy in concert but he was poppin, little Southern thang. lol
Now they really had the whole audience puzzled with Lil' Wayne being there! Being that the whole world was under the impression that he was supposedly for the 2nd time going to jail but was at MSG? CRAZY!
OVERALL THE CONCERT WAS A SUCCESS! & I'm happy we were there to experience :-*
