Bollywood's New Year plans | Bollywood Celebrates New Year Eve

Beaches, mountains or just spending time with family and friends - Bollywood celebrities are all set to take a break from tinseltown to usher in the New Year. While Sushmita Sen and Shilpa Shetty are heading to the waters, Mugdha Godse and Minissha Lamba will be with their loved ones.

Sushmita Sen: I am going to Goa or the Kerala backwaters. I haven't decided yet. I can't go out of India because my younger daughter doesn't have a passport yet.

Shilpa Shetty: (I'm) really excited about the Mediterranean cruise
we are taking with the family, my first ever, making it even more special. I will be out at sea for the next two weeks...(I) will be bringing in the New Year on the ship.

Jaya Prada: I will be in Hyderabad with my mother. I believe that New Year or any other festival is the time to be with your family. And next day, like all the previous years, I will be going to the Tirupati Balaji temple before returning to work.

Fardeen Khan: We are going to the mountains this year. I'm off on a romantic holiday in Shimla for five days with my wife (Natasha) to celebrate New Year. I haven't been there earlier; so I'm looking forward to it.

Mughda Godse: This New Year's eve I'll be working and spend the rest of it with my family.

Celina Jaitley: I will be performing at the JW Marriott in Mumbai which means that I am making money this New Year.

Minissha Lamba: This New Year I'm going to be with my close friends.

Manoj Bajpayee: I will be in Delhi with my family. I will welcome 2010 with them at home. I will chat, dance, play music and eat...I'll do everything that makes one happy.

Sukhwinder Singh: I'll be home with friends to welcome the New Year. I'll sing and dance and be merry in general. I don't like going out because on New Year, all places are over crowded. Fun is when you are with friends and nothing is better than home.

Purab Kohli: I plan to be in Mumbai this New Year as it has been eight years since I've been spending this time here...I'm looking forward to a great party in 2010.

Rannvijay: I am going to my hometown Jalandhar after a very long time. I'll be spending my Christmas and New Year there with my family and friends.

Shilpa Shetty : I Want To Be A Mom

Shilpa Shetty : I Want To Be A Mom

Barely two days after her grandiose wedding, Shilpa Shetty-Kundra – that’s how she wants to be known now – feels she’s on top of the world. “Thank God, I plan to get married only once! This has been the most exhausting week of my life .

And also the happiest. I’ve waited so long for my wedding. Outwardly, the only thing that’s different is the choodas, and the way I’m dressed. Inside me, everything feels the same. I’ve known Raj for so long that it feels no different otherwise,” says the not-so-blushing bride!

“I have a severe jaw ache from all the smiling at the reception. Now I know why my colleagues avoid wedding receptions! It really does get impossible to manage the entire crowd,” she adds. Apparently, there were more gatecrashers at the reception than guests. “At the wedding too, there were people climbing trees and walls to take photographs,” Shilpa giggles. “But it was a far more intimate, private and controlled affair than the reception. Shamita kept saying that she felt she was part of a Punjabi wedding sequence from a movie!”

After her effervescent laughter finally subsides, Shilpa says soberly, “The wedding was very traditional and simple. I felt I was going through a dream. My marriage was exactly the way I had imagined it.” The Kundras will now leave for their honeymoon, followed by a Mediterranean cruise for the entire family. Says Shilpa happily, “We’re going to the Bahamas for our honeymoon. Then after we return, Raj is taking our entire family, all the Shettys and the Kundras, on a Mediterranean cruise for Christmas. He thought everyone needed a break.”
And where does Mrs Kundra plan to live now, Mumbai, or London? “I have to get acquainted with Raj’s circle of friends in London, get used to socialising with them.Yes, we’ll have two homes now. In any case, I was always travelling to and fro. Now I’ll be doing this even more! I have my film-production company in Mumbai. So I can’t be in London only.”

Talk about motherhood, and Shilpa’s all eager, “Oh yes! I certainly want to be a mother. I can’t wait to start our family.”

The gorgeously beautiful lady who, for over a decade, has emanated such grace & elegance that every man out there, from actors to sportsmen to viewers, has been totally swooned. So, unquestionably, lots & lots of hearts were broken this Sunday on 22nd November as the sexy lass tied the knot with long-term friend Raj Kundra.
The auspicious ceremony was held at Bawa Villa in Khandala and the bride dazzled in a Tarun Tahiliani burgundy and red sari, embellished with Swarovsky crystals. The London-based groom who arrived on a horse-drawn chariot was attired in a maroon and gold sherwani. However, the grand occasion was sans big stars as Bollywood faces were, noticeably, absent barring those of Sunny Deol, Suneil Shetty, Jackky Bhagnani and producer Vasu Bhagnani.
But hold your breath… a grand reception is to be held on 24th November, Tuesday and will, hopefully, witness the presence of all the mega stars of Bollywood. It is believed that the reception will be staged at the prestigious Grand Hyatt hotel and the invitees include the likes of Bacchans & Khans among others.
Her IPL comrades Shane Warne and Vijaya Mallya are also likely to attend & the late Michael Jackson’s sister Jermaine Jackson has also been cordially invited. And Singer Adnan Sami who is hospitalized & undergoing treatment for gall bladder was totally stumped by the maiden last week, when Shilpa gave a surprise visit to him and handed out a card….Let’s see, if he turns up. Probably, he will. After all, who can refuse a request from a woman who just takes your breath away when she flashes one of her glittering, curvy smiles….
